Terms of Service

The short version: you own your content, you can leave and take it with you any time, and all paid plans renew until you cancel. Use Lifesync lawfully and reasonably, and we'll keep it reliable and private.
01Your account
You need an account to use Lifesync. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
02Acceptable use
Lifesync is a personal life operating system. Please use it lawfully and reasonably. In particular, do not:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights with content you store or share.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- Resell or redistribute the service as your own without our written agreement.
03Plans, billing, and trials
Explore is a full 90-day trial with no card required. Beta and Alpha are paid plans, billed either monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is offered at a discount versus paying monthly.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are shown in euros and may exclude taxes, which are added where applicable. If we change prices, we will give you notice before your next renewal.
You can cancel at any time; your plan then remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
04Your content and ownership
You own everything you create in Lifesync. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You grant us the limited permission necessary to operate the service for you — for example, to store, back up, encrypt, and sync your content across your devices. That permission exists only to provide Lifesync to you, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account.
05Availability and support
We work hard to keep Lifesync reliable, and because it is offline-first, you can keep working even when the network or our servers are temporarily unavailable. Even so, the service is provided on an ongoing-effort basis and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Support is available by email, with priority response on the Alpha plan.
06Cancellation and data export
You can export your content at any time in open formats, and you can close your account whenever you like. We will never hold your data hostage to keep you subscribed — a tool you cannot leave is not one we want to build.
07Disclaimers and liability
Lifesync is a tool to help you organize and reflect; it is not professional, financial, medical, or legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is,” and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
08Changes to the service and these terms
We may update the product and, occasionally, these terms. If we make a material change, we will update this page and let you know where appropriate. Continuing to use Lifesync after a change means you accept the updated terms.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, unless local consumer law gives you other rights.
