I came in skeptical — I’ve abandoned a dozen of these. What got me was that nothing nags me. My journal isn’t shouting next to my tasks. Six weeks in, I finally trust that what I wrote down is still where I left it.

The weekly review is the first one that ever stuck. It’s just my own week, read back to me. I stopped pretending I’d remember and started actually deciding what to drop.

Seeing where my money went right next to where my time went was uncomfortable in the best way. They finally tell the same story. I’ve cut two subscriptions and one bad habit since.

I run three things at once and switching used to cost me the thread every time. Now each one has its own room. I sit down, I’m already in context, I keep going.

Paying for it is the point. I don’t want my private notes to be the product. Knowing there are no ads and nothing’s being sold is exactly why I write more honestly in it.

I lost my phone on a trip and genuinely panicked for a second — then logged in on a borrowed laptop and everything was just there. That was the day it stopped being an app I use and became one I rely on.
